MPAA, RIAA seek permanent antitrust exemption

From The Register, another chapter in the 'RIAA vs. the world' saga. Obviously Orrin Hatch believes strongly in the RIAA and for some reason is willing to look the other way whenever they pull a fast one... Are there that many musicians in Utah being exploited by file-sharers?
